Sessions are conducted online using a secure telemedicine video call platform.
The frequency of the meetings depends on what level of support you need.
You can discuss with your dietitian what level of support is recommended.

WHAT DOES NUTRITION COUNSELING ENTAIL?
We provide highly individualized nutrition counseling. We do not have a one-size-fits-all program.
Some strategies we use are motivational interviewing, acceptance and commitment therapy, tangible goal setting, self-compassion, various mindfulness practices, and optional Energy Therapy.
The initial session will consist of a review of your health, eating, exercise, and body image history. We’ll discuss where you currently are, where you want to be, and what you consider to be your top priorities or goals.
Follow-up sessions allow us to dig deeper into underlying factors and core issues, discuss barriers and challenges, and devise a plan together that feels realistic, manageable, and attainable for you. Along the way, we will be assessing, monitoring, and evaluating how you’re doing and adjusting as needed.
